One of the scenes from the first Ice Age movie got my attention when I watched it again today. It takes place at the beginning - Diego the sabertooth tiger tries to grab the human baby from Sid the sloth. Manny the mammoth intervenes and denies Diego his prey. Here are the relevant lines from the script:
Diego: That pink thing is mine.
Sid: No. Actually that pink thing belongs to us.
Diego: "Us"? You two are a bit of an odd couple.
Manny: There is no "us".
Diego: I see. Can't have one of your own, so you want to adopt.
We're safe. Disney is there for us, doing their bit to transmit homophobia to future generations.
